Hey Gylmar,
Apparently, EVERY company is getting it lol the question is which carriers and what times…

phenomenal hardware – less-than-phenomenal OS.
I’ve had a chance to play with T-Mobile’s version a little bit, and maybe it’s just me, but I can’t get past WinMo even with TouchFlo making it all flashy and what-not.
Now if we had THIS phone running Android… mmmmmm…

Hello Israel,
Ha, the best Windows Mobile phone ever, but still has Windows Mobile, which needs to be updated I agree lol
Did you see the Sony Xperia X3 (Rachael) on our site? Can’t wait for that with Android and Sony’s UI

Android OS is not developed enough to handle such hardware so currently it would be a step back. You end up giving up hardware functionality/features, ie: Noise Cancelling Speakerphone, if you load Android on the Touch Pro 2. One day, Android will be able to support “benchmarking” hardware. For now, Windows Mobile is the only one to support it at the moment.

i purchased the htc touch pro 2 for tmobile running os 6.1 and wow am i dissapointed.. the phone is amazing but windows really is the worst os on a phone ever built. very unstable and very sluggish. i ended up selling the phone on ebay just after a week. maybe in the future htc will go with a different os like android

Erick Gomez,
Ya, Windows Mobile needs a serious overhaul. Upgrading to 6.5 helps with the slowdowns a bit, but still could use an overhaul, I agree.
And the N900 is pretty nice too…
Plenty of Android devices coming out for HTC
