Hello Simon,

The GPS receiver works without needing an internet plan, BUT you still need a map to put it on, and that would require internet (and possible buying a map from Nokia).

Great review on the 5800 nokia. Only one question… when in the applications menu, in location, press landmarks, using the GPS as a “sat nav” does this mean it connects to the web to use or is this function free because its using GPS? Thanks.

And people say the G1 is bulky lol. Overall it doesn’t look too bad
