hey methodz, inquire in to the sales of goods act in your country because FOR EXAMPLE: if you were an EU citizen then the European sales of goods act dictates a manufacturer must ensure a product operates within its stated parameters during its "satisfactory product life expectancy", this is typically 3 to 5 years. the only issue is you will have to prove it is an inherent fault. this may require legal action. when you purchase a product you are entering in to a legal contract with the manufacturer. if you believe strongly enough that they have broken the terms of the contract and you feel others are experiencing the same issue then i would advise seeking legal advice.

good luck

Yes, this was just a few months ago. There are youtubes of the problem and people who have the same exact issue. breaks just a few weeks past warranty. hey, stuff breaks and i'm willing to pay top dollar to fix it but they don't have a fix for it nor will take it back to repair it even at my cost! so...i can't support this phone. x3 it is unless the hd2 goes android

is Acer run by Gateway computer or have any affiliation with them. If so I would never ever consider this product because of my hate for Gateway and their CRAP customer support. They screwed me on my $1800 monitor, and a bunch of others too. Provided their track record this device will work until one week after the warranty expires then they will not offer to fix it nor provide you a way to fix it. On the other hand, if Acer is not affiliated with Gateway, then what a nice device LOL.
