So Google apparently has been working on a new app that uses Google Maps with 3D overlays, wikipedia layers, and has voice guided turn by turn navigation built in. And guess what? It’s free and it’s for Android right now.
Now you won’t be able to download it from the Market just yet (so you can put your phone down), but it will come preloaded on the Motorola Sholes (Droid) for Verizon on November 6th. So you better believe there will be a dev who will rip it right off and make it public

this will up the price of car chargers by soooooo much!!!! it would kill your battery the one thats on the phone already uses more battery then my usb deck charger can give it.
