Motorola Sholes (aka the Droid) and Sholes Tablet Coming to T-Mobile USA?

So over at TMoNews, one of their trusted ninjas send them a screen shot of a an internal section of Motorola’s site that is only visible to employees apparently.
Take a look at the circled section, that would say Sholes UMTS T-Mobile US which would the Motorola Droid for T-Mobile USA if it were true. And then a Sholes tablet for T-Mobile US right beneath it which would be a rumored Android tablet Motorola is developing.
So the Droid (Sholes) might be coming to T-Mobile US soon? Combine that with the GSM Droid we’ve seen with AT&T’s 3G inside and Motorola has their bases pretty covered. Think Android has given Motorola some new life (and some better strategies too).
And you were complaining that T-Mobile wasn’t getting any good Android devices? Anyone second guessing their switch to Verizon?

As one who has complained b4 abt the phone selection on Tmobile…i am pleased to see that the Droid might eventually find its way to Tmobile. We need more and more top of the line devices aka MOBILE COMPUTERS on our network…and nothing will please me and i am sure multitude of Magenta lovers more to see Tmobile taking the lead or at best not left behind…besides they took the lead w/ Android from the get go. I am waiting and hoping that HTC DRAGON will be next in line…so is the NOKIA N900. So Tmo…just keep those mobile computers coming…remember Big screens abt 3.5 to 4.0 inches. We are not looking for netbooks in our pocket as others have mocked…just enuf sreen size for these Pocket computer/phones

Fine……I want to see a little corroboration here. I want to see an FCC page that lists AWS 1700….that being the case, I will start to funnel some spare $$ to upgrade to it, when it becomes available. For all the chatter about the N900 ( we’re still talking a non-open OS that doesn’t have but a handful of apps ), THIS is what TMo needs to get a real dose of 3G-Cred which it DESPERATELY needs.
Adding more 3G enabled towers would also help ( are you listening TMo ? ).

Interestingly enough…here’s a link to where it’s mentioned in an installer for the Motorola tools

Marcelo L,
The FCC page will probably come later. Still nice to hear that the Droid MIGHT be coming to T-Mobile.
Did you say the N900 is a non-open OS with only a handful of apps?

Sure, the dark rumors were dead on. So I am 100% on this

Well tmobile better hurry up and confirm if it’s getting the droid by Nov 6, cause if they don’t, i’m going to get me a droid from verizon. Come on tmobile stop playing.

If a droid is coming to T-Mobile, and it has no physical keyboard, then I am not interested.

Webby,
It will have a keyboard (if it didn’t it wouldn’t be the Sholes, they whould have a different name. Perhaps that is what the Sholes Tablet is?)
