Acer Liquid Snapdragon to Be Set to 768mhz instead of 1Ghz? We Can Fix That.

Liquid 768

So EngadgetMobile announced that the Liquid Android phone from Acer will have a 1Ghz snapdragon processor but that it will only be clocked to 768mhz. What gives, right?

Well, regardless of the reasoning, I wouldn’t be too concerned. So long as the processor is indeed a 1Ghz Snapdragon just underclocked, we can easily fix that.

Once we have root access on the thing (a How To will be on our site soon as it is rooted, of course), we can easily use one of the many overclocking programs floating in the Market for root users to put it back where it belongs :)

Considering the specs of the new snapdragon phones absolutely dwarfs anything that is on the market I am super excited. We may truly be entering the stage where phones really are computers. How awesome will it be when we can connect our monitors and keyboards to our phones?
