Yeah... Got over a thousand roll over mins on ATT so I don't want to change to TMobile just yet till I know which carrier will have the HTC Android phone I want...

One thing that complicates things is that I am part of a family plan.. So when I am doing my math, it is not just for one phone... The break down is 2 Android smart phones with the works + 1 dumb phone... So right now that would mean $1,140 with taxes to go with Nexus & with the savings of the TMobile Plus plans it would kind of come out a bit ahead in cost + out of contract goodness but not by much... But I wouldn't want a 2 year contract since I think something should change by early next year with white space tech & GV VoIP...

I really need to upgrade the dinosaur phone I am on now... And TMobile is the best carrier for me to move too.. But so far other then the Nexus.. TMobile has been only selling 1st gen HTC Android sets... Hope there are more great choices very soon...

Y314K,

Hey man. That article says that Sweden is getting the HTC Bravo remember, doesn't mean T-Mobile will be getting it aw well (although you'd think it would come out most places around the same time, but remember the HD2 that took a few extra months to hit the States...)
Ha, if you wait for every rumor you hear, you'll never get a new phone. You can always follow my way of buying new phones lol

thacher: It's a pretty smart dumb HTC phone... Best Android phone out right now... And it is the only phone hitting all my criteria as of now:

Android + HTC + TMobile 3G, So I've been daily tempted to buy it... But if I've waited this long... Might as well wait till the end of Q3 or MWC in late Feb....

http://mobile.engadget.com/2010/01/13/3-sweden-says-its-getting-htc-bravo-in-march/

TheUnlockr: If the HTC Bravo is release @ the end of Q3.. Do you think Google will lower the price on the Nexus One... They are both clones of each other but the Bravo's extra features truly makes it worth $600... Although a cheaper Nexus One will probably be easily upgraded to a full Bravo thanks to XDA Dev's... And it might, I hope not but it might ended up having more ram then the Bravo...

And then there are all those tempting phones that will be shown at WMC & some might be rumor to come with Tegra 2... But either the Nexus or the Bravo will need to hold me over till those come out..

Ended '08 out of contract with ATT & still using my LG C2000 in a 2 line family plan & needing to upgrade to a 3 line family plan. Dec. '08 I was out of contract & decided to give the HTC Fuze a try on one line... That was my worst mistake in gadgetry I've ever made.. I swore off WiMo that same month & returned the phone... But I did like how HTC liked to improved a completely crappy OS...

So I spend most of '09 following Android & Apple seeing which would be worthy of getting me locked for 2 years...

I've never really liked the simplicity of Apple's UI + their att plans are highway robbery... The Iphone's UI doesn't make sense to me... To Simple. I prefer a more open pc like feel to my OS... So by March '09 I came to the conclusion that my next phone had to run Android... Then I fell in love with HTC Rosie... And also loved the design of the original HTC Hero.. I would of subbed up with any carrier if they would of release that phone last summer but that never happend...

So I decided to wait some more... By the time the Hero came to Sprint... It was old tech with a average design... So decided to wait some more for TMobile new plans + Verizon's Nov. entry into the android field... Of course TMobile ended up keeping 1st gen HTC Android phones as their main choices & Verizon try's to charge like every body is rooming outside of their city's all the time..

I am lucky I live in a area where TMobile is as good as Verizon in every aspect... So I decided to go with TMobile... Then the Nexus news come out... It's great it's for TMobile's 3G but there seems to be some bugs that need to be worked out... + as you correctly told us... They would charge regular unlock price for the phone... But if I am going to get charge full unlock price for a HTC phone... Then I might as well buy the true & full HTC phone... The HTC Bravo... The one with the option of Sense from the get go + FM Radio In/Out turned on from factory, etc, etc...

So right now I am trying to find 2 cheap (Around $150 each) mytouch's to hold me over till next year once dual core chips snapdragon phones come out or I might go for a couple of unlocked HTC Bravo's... We should know more by the end of Feb. after the Mobile World Congress.

By the way.. I am still using my old LG C2000 on ATT while all this time passes by... But I am getting desperate to upgrade... Still waiting to see...

Y314K,

Hmm, that's a good point. I, for some reason, feel that the way he "announced" the Enterprise version, "...an enterprise version of the Nexus One could have a physical keyboard and longer battery life", sounds like the same manufacturer, like it's literally a version of the Nexus One. BUT, who knows maybe it is a Motorola version like you said. Hmmm.
So Y314K, you get the Nexus One or waiting for something else? (You on CDMA or GSM?)
