Motorola MOTOROI Will Be Launched Worldwide in March
January 19, 2010 in Featured, Wireless News
The Motoroi is a distant cousin to the Motorola Droid. It has the same size screen (3.7″), runs the same Android 2.0 OS, same processor, same RAM etc.
The difference is that there is no keyboard (making it also 20 grams lighter), it gains 720p recording, an 8.0MP camera (instead of a 5.0mp), built in HDMI port, and TV broadcasting (the broadcasting is only Korean standard and highly unlikely will work or be included in a US version).
This phone was originally scheduled for a Korean only launch but according to PhoneScoop, it will be making a world debut this March.
Question is, does this mean a worldwide unlocked phone launch or are US and other carrier’s picking it up?
Anyone interested?

i dont care what the mpxl is on the camera. if they dont include a good flash, some anti shake software, and a few other minor things that many phones are now comming with, it doesnt matter. I could take 10x better pictures on my blackberry storm because of the flash and anti-shake features than i can on any android phone ive had or tested. its just silly that its not standard yet.

At least it’s better then the G1 & MyTouch in specs… To bad TMobile won’t get this phone till a couple months after they introduce 2 name but same as last years MyTouch’s(Fender + MyTouchv1.2) that only new characteristics is that they now have a 3.5 audio port…
Like the shape cause it’s different… Side way chin is not bad, specially with the extra buttons on it… But it’s just a keyboard less Moto Droid… No SnapDragon or Tegra no sale..lol

Y314K,
I have to agree, keyboard less Droid or Nexus One, eh rather go for the Nexus One personally.
