HTC Bravo Heading to T-Mobile UK
January 21, 2010 in Featured, Wireless News
The HTC Bravo, which is basically the Nexus One with multitouch, HTC’s Sense UI, and an optical trackpad instead of trackball, is confirmed to be heading to T-Mobile UK in mid-March (round the same time as 3 Sweden is getting it).
So seems the Bravo launches continue… no US release info (if there even will be any).
So how many people think we’ll see it stateside around March as well?

I hope we’ll see it here soon. It’s biggest advantage over the Nexus One, I think, is having official support of the carrier.
By March, I know will hear the newest reason for me not to buy this phone and wait just three more months….

The funny thing if this phone comes to the US T-mobile it will sell more than 20k the first week. Take that Google and cram it up your ass.

ya i’d buy it unlocked as i am still under contract

the nexus is supported by Tmobile.
This phone would sell like crazy if they would launch it. Im sure Google worked some kind of exclusivity window for the Nexus though before we will see this on any carrier.
I just want to know who’s brainchild the Nexus’s ordering system was.. and slap them.

The bravo is the nexus? I don’t think so! No multi touch and no sense… if the nexus was like the bravo/hero than thats the rom I would b tryin to load all the time!

MrJoeyLoke,
Yes, multitouch (just needs the apps to accept it but its built into Android framework). And we have the how to for enabling it in the Browser now so other apps are sure to come up soon), and as for Sense I can guarantee that as soon as the Bravo comes out a dev will easily be able to take the ROM dump and transfer it to the Nexus since they are the same hardware (as far as motherboard etc). So eh no biggie if we dont get it here in the States if you ask me lol
And to me the benefit of the Nexus (which we still have yet to see though) is that Google can push Android version out to it as soon as they come out. They will keep it up to date with their versions for sure. No need to wait for the carrier or manufacturer to put their touches on it (like all those people still stuck on 1.5 or 1.6). But again, we have yet to see this…

Please have a US release with T-Mobile! This is the reason why I’m holding off in getting the Nexus 1!!!!

Louie,
When it comes out (regardless of where it comes to) I promise someone will take Sense UI from it and load it onto the Nexus One
