So Windows Phone 7′s release date was set by Microsoft for beginning of 2011, but as it turns out, LG apparently didn’t get that memo.

LG has announced that they plan to release the first Windows Phone 7 phone as early as September. This coincides with a rumor that came out before Windows Phone 7 was officially announced that LG would release a Windows Phone 7 phone in September. So the fact that we are hearing this rumor twice, lends a bit more credibility to the idea (a bit, this is still a rumor and dates always change).

Anyone excited that the launch is coming 3-4 months earlier? I’m curious to see what Windows Phone 7 can do, so I’m excited
