I was running a sense UI on my G1 and it slowed to phone down and and made the phone freeze half the time. Its a performance issue. Its like putting a drop down TV in a two seat car. Sure its cool, but it wouldnt be practical.

The issue isn't whether or not it's possible, it's whether or not adobe feels that adding flash will improve the experience of those using it. If it were my product, I wouldn't take any chances turning people off by screwing up their mobile devices. Flash 10.1 is more streamlined than ever, but still a resource hog in comarison to most mobile apps.

makes sense considering how taxing it will prolly be....i never understand when g1 owners gripe about this or that not working on their phone...UPGRADE! Phones are no longer meant to be a 2-3year purchase...this is why i commend google for trying to change the structure and process of getting a phone in the usa. I have a nexus one that i bought outright, i am t-mobile month to month, i can cancel anytime i want without penalties, i can sell the n1 as soon as a better phone comes out...Contracts are hopefully going the way of the DODO...I love google for pushing this new system, we will see if other major carriers are as forward thinking as T-Mobile has been in embracing these contract free plans. Also, i pay 40%less for an equivalent plan I had for my iphone with at$t...and i get better service, plus can use google voice now. I am so happy with this nexus one, has been a the only phone i ever adopted that I have had ZERO problems with. Perfect device. Perfect service, and Perfect NO PLAN!
