How To: Bypass the Activation Screen on the HTC Droid Eris
I. Bypass the Activation Screen on a Droid Phone –
1. On the Welcome screen with the touch the android to begin icon, do the following:
2. Tap the top left corner of the screen then
3. Tap the top right corner of the screen then
4. Tap the bottom right corner of the screen ( just above the grey bar along the bottom with emergency dial and change language in it) then
5. Tap the bottom left corner of the screen ( just above the grey bar along the bottom with emergency dial and change language in it).
6. That’s it, should pop up the home screen shortly, if not retry. Remember not to drag your finger, simple tap top left, top right, bottom right, bottom left.

i did’nt see any android robot on my screen..so how about that? any answer please

Are you guys dumb… this is the Motorola Droid activation screen. get your information straight.
We know that, and we’re happy you know that as well. Does it make a difference? We used that screen for all the bypass activation screen posts, it’s just a screen shot, shouldn’t effect the procedure for you.
It does make a difference. The Droid Eris doesn’t even have that screen, idiot.
it makes a HUGE difference…a motorola droid & a htc droid are completely different!!!
all i did on my eris was go thru to make the activation call, then hang up after they talked about options 1 & 2, then it lets you skip thru the rest of the screens…i don’t know yet whether it will do it every time I have to reset the phone…
i know i did something to my last eris that is fine no matter how much I restart
dont have a cow man, it does work just keep trying. it’s easy
i had to restart my phone while out of the country in Canada (i live in the states) and it wont let me dial the *228 to activate it ….any help?
