MeeGo Ported to the HTC HD2

The HTC HD2 has been an amazing chameleon when it comes to operating systems. The phone launched with Windows Mobile 6.5 in late 2009 and since then hard working third party developers have ported Windows 7, Android 2.2, Android 2.3, Linux, and now there is one more OS to add to that list.

Nokia and Intel’s yet to be fully released MeeGo operating system is still being finalized and a handset running the OS is not supposed to be released by the companies until later in 2011. But apparently that hasn’t stopped developers from taking the initial release of MeeGo and get it running on the ever so versatile T-Mobile HTC HD2.

The developer responsible says it still has a lot of bugs to work out but things are coming along. Check out his work so far at the source.
