T-Mobile G2/HTC Desire Z on track for a Gingerbread update
Although the exact date of the rollout is not specified, with the HTC Incredible S and Desire HD already getting their share of the Android 2.3 update, the Desire Z (going by T-Mobile G2 here in the USA) should get what it deserves pretty soon. TMonews just uncovered a flyer denoting the update and its key improvements (swapping 3G/4G for the H icon to show network speed being the major change) and there’s still the cryptic “coming soon” message that we so often see with news on Android updates for various devices.
