Samsung Galaxy S Android 2.3.4 ROM leaked

The Galaxy S II is gaining popularity overshadowing its predecessor, but that doesn’t mean the Galaxy S (model code: I9000) has lived away its full life.  The yesteryear bestseller from Samsung has been getting the necessary attention it deserves and to that end, walked away with Gingerbread 2.3.3 last month.  It seems that Sammy still has plans for the device, as this latest leak, codenamed “XXJVP,” is an unreleased Android 2.3.4 build for the I9000.

Upgrading to this version will get Galaxy S users the ability to video chat via GTalk among other improvements.  Currently, the only devices running the 2.3.4 update are the Googlephones, the Nexus One and the newer Nexus S, but this latest leak points to a wider rollout in the very near future for other handsets.
