How To Change the Apps in the Bottom Dock on a Samsung Android Device

Liking your new Samsung Android device, but really wish you could change the apps that are pinned to the bottom of the screen in the dock? It’s not so apparent to do so, so here’s a quick step by step to show you how to do it.

1. Click on Applications (to open your App drawer)

2. Click the Menu button.

3. Select Customizable Grid.

4. Click the Menu button.

5. Select Edit.

6. Drag whatever app you want from the apps you have down to the dock to swap them out.

  1. How do you change the apps that are on the bottom when the phone is docked? The steps above are only for the “home” apps when the phone is not docked. When docked it shows a clock and 5 apps on the bottom are Alarm – Music Player – Gallery – Voice Search and S Memo (on the galaxy note). How do you change those apps, none of which are useful when the phone is docked.
