  1. Has tendency to drop data connection. And youtube is always reburring – battery life is ok.

I’m been using this ROM for a few days now and it hasn’t drop data connection for me once. I don’t know about youtube since I don’t really watch youtube on my phone that much. As far as battery life is, I overclock and under clock for when the screen is on or off and I was able to get a good 12 hours extra from doing that.

Maybe this ROM is giving different results per user or it could be someones local area that is causing them to drop data connection.

  2. The only problem I experienced with this rom is that it will not allow to type in Chinese… end up force close touch.input…

  3. I really like this rom and I have not had any problems with the rom. The is one thing I would ask to have changed is the keyboard layout.

  4. Great ROM.  I’m very impressed.  Market is saying that T-Mobile Visual Voicemail isn’t compatible though.  Overall though, it rocks.

  5. I really like this ROM. I used a previous version of Virtuous’s Sense ROM, and version 3 really does it right. I’ve been running it now almost since it came out, and it’s almost certainly the best ROM I’ve used, ever. Smooth, dazzling eye candy, up to 1.7Ghtz OC, all the hardware works just as you’d expect it to, and with Juice Defender Beta, I can generally go about a day and a half on one charge–but I’m a very heavy user.

At the very least, back up your current ROM and give this one a try. Even if you don’t like it, all you’ve lost is a little time. But I really don’t think you’ll go back. Sense is such a slick interface for the Android OS. You will fall in love. No other ROM out there that let’s you hit 1.75ghtz looks as beautiful or is as fully functionally as Virtuous Unity Sense 3.0.

    1. Hey Jake Im only overclocked to 1.1 ghz i use juice defender on aggresive with 200mhz max underclock when i turn off screen i still get only get like 8 hours with minimum to normal use.

Do i need to recalibrate battery or something? if i do can you tell me how you recalibrate?
      thanks for taking the time

      1. Hey Jonathan,

Hmmm. That’s strange that you’re having battery trouble. I typically run at a 1.5 max with the min at the bottom on a interactive governor, with no trouble. So, I’d suggest this course of action. First, in Recovery, reset your battery stats. Then, get the Battery Calibration app by NeMa. Follow the instructions included with that app, but step one is fully charge.

After that, if you’re still having trouble, I’d be curious what your juice defender settings are. Perhaps something there is actually making things worse instead of better.
