Sony Ericsson announces the Xperia Neo V with Android 2.3.4 OS

Obviously a slightly improved version of the Xperia Neo, Sony Ericsson has today announced the Xperia Neo V, which comes with Android 2.3.4 onboard.  While the Gingerbread OS may not be big news for Android phones in general, it is significant for SE devices, as the company has announced that it will be upgrading all Android devices released this year to 2.3.4, which is sure to delight many of our readers with Xperia phones.

Coming back to the Xperia Neo V, the device will come with a 3.7 inch touchscreen display made using Reality and BRAVIA technologies, a 5MP rear camera, Snapdragon MSM8255 1GHz processor and of course Android 2.3.4 to make use of that front cam to video chat.

An exact release date hasn’t been announced but there is a vague assurance of a Q4 launch with an unknown price tag.
