Preview: HTC Sense 3.5 UI in a few pictures

The recently pictured HTC Bliss is the only confirmed Android device to get the Sense 3.5 UI, but according to XDA.cn, the customization may not be limited to this device or just future handsets/tablets.  According to the source, Sense 3.5 will become available for older devices too, which will take the hassle away of waiting for an unofficial ROM with the revamped UI – this is in contrast to Sense 3.0 which was exclusively for devices like the Sensation and others with dual-core processors.

As you can see from the pictures, HTC has retained the ring unlocking system which made its debut on the 3.0 version, but will be much more useful, giving users info on unread messages and weather.  Speaking of weather, its widget will also be seeing a change, with it now covering almost all of the display if not for the two buttons below it for access to apps and phone.  The icons also get a black background, which should offset them against any dark wallpaper being used.

We will get to feast more on this eye candy once the HTC Bliss is made official or launched and before long, use it on our older HTC devices if the devs have their way before HTC ports the UI officially to older handsets.
