HTC and Dropbox Team Up to Offer 5GB of Free Cloud Storage on Sense 3.5 Phones

It looks as though HTC has their head in the clouds with news of their latest partnership with a popular cloud storage service, Dropbox. HTC confirmed that its latest Android phones will receive a bonus 3GB of storage in addition to the free 2GB of storage offered through Dropbox. According to Pocket-Lint, the extra space is being extended to all HTC devices running Sense 3.5. Currently, that means the offer is limited to the upcoming HTC Rhyme, but it still appears to be a good bonus for future devices.

The service will allow users to save files and photos on their phone, and then have them automatically sync to their home computer or other devices that are also running the Dropbox software. Dropbox currently offers users 2GB of free storage with the opportunity to upgrade to 8GB by persuading friends to sign up for the service. Add on HTC’s bonus 3GB of storage, and users could potentially reach up to 10GB in free storage.
