Leaked Android Ice Cream Sandwich Tutorial Video, Thanks to eBay Purchase

With the launch of Google’s next monstrous update, dubbed Ice Cream Sandwich, expected to launch sometime in the next two months, the only thing we have to look forward to are the unexpected leaks to keep us going. Thanks to a lucky eBay purchase, Android fans everywhere can now relish in a reported leaked two minute tutorial video.

According to Engadget, the stars aligned for the tipster who innocently bought the Samsung Nexus S and noticed upon its arrival that the smartphone was noticeably different. As you can see in the video the device looks to be running ICS, but an updated build (IRK48) and kernel (3.0.1).

The video displays similarities to Honeycomb and Gingerbread as expected, but with four shortcuts on the bottom. The Google App icon has been revamped and enables the user to access various features provided by Google. Additional changes include a different looking notification bar, camera UI, and long pressing the home button serves up the user a vertical Honeycomb styled multitasking menu.

All of this said, there is still a chance that what we are seeing is simply a sweet custom ROM built to look like Ice Cream Sandwich. Unfortunately we won’t know for sure until Google unwraps their dessert officially. Either way, check out the tutorial video and let us know what you think.
