Samsung Stratosphere now official on Verizon; coming October 13th
The Samsung Stratosphere is now official on Verizon in all its QWERTY glory. Thanks to the unintentional treat of a full spec sheet last week, we already know that the device boasts of a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display, a 5mpx rear camera with a 1.3MP front lens, an unnamed 1GHz CPU, 4GB of onboard storage with the option to take it up to 32GB via MicroSD (4GB card bundled), WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and LTE network support. There’s also of course the full physical QWERTY slide-out keypad and TouchWiz-skinned Android 2.3 OS.
The Stratosphere will hit Verizon shelves starting October 13 at an unknown price, but with mid-range specs, the Stratosphere could very well go for $99 or $149 on a two-year contract.
