How To Unroot the MyTouch 4G Slide
So you need to send in your MyTouch 4G Slide for warranty? Or perhaps you’re selling it? Either way, you should unroot the device first and restore it back to it’s original, out of box, state. Here’s how.
I. Before You Begin
1. This will completely erase your device and reset it back to out of the box state. You will lose root, S-Off, recovery etc. It will be as if you just took it out of the box.
II. Flash the Stock Firmware
1. Download the stock firmware and save it to your computer (do NOT extract it, leave it as a .zip).
Stock MyTouch 4G Slide Firmware
2. Plug in your phone via USB cable and mount the storage so we can transfer files to it.
3. Copy the .zip file to the root of the sd card (not in any folders, just on the sd card itself).
4. Unplug the device.
5. Turn off the device.
6. Turn it back on by holding down volume down and power and keep holding it until the bootloader screen comes up.
7. It should automatically find the .zip file we put on the sd card, when it does, push power to begin the update.
8. Once it is done, push power to reboot.
9. Once it reboots, all set!
This fixes the Revolutionary Root Method? if so that is Great for those who need to warranty out their MT4gSlide.

my phone still says s-off as well. anyone know how to switch it back to s-on? i need to send phone for warranty
This will put the stock firmware back and remove Revolutionary. But it does not put S-On back. So you loose the recovery part but it is still rooted.
it still says that im s off and i have no recovery anymore. any help?
it wont even install my software idk what else to do
Please this does not remove S OFF, I still have S on and not I the phone wont log into qik, I dont know its its because the phone is still partly rooted, please help.
