Sony Google TV Honeycomb 3.1 Update and First Impressions

The Sony Blu Ray player (model NSZ-GT1) with integrated Google TV gets updated to Honeycomb version 3.1.  The video shows the updating process and gives you a quick run through of the most obvious changes.

First impression pros:
  • Simple and elegant interface
  • Less obtrusive than previous build
  • Android Market is here!
First impression cons:
  • Limited TV optimized apps at this time
Once we have some more hands on time, we will come back with a full review of all the features, benefits, and potential downfalls of the new update.
