Minor update en route for the Samsung Epic 4G Touch

It’s not Ice-Cream Sandwich – that will remain a no-go for some more time – but the Sprint variant of the Galaxy S2 is getting a fix to solve an issue with sudden signal drops.  The update, labeled S:D710.0.5S.EK02, is already on its way to devices across the country and should take approximately 10 minutes to completely install once downloaded.

For those who are not seeing it pop up already on their Epic 4G Touch, be patient as Sprint says it might take up to 10 days for the rollout to be complete.  Also, be sure to sound out in the comments section below if the update solved what it was meant to but threw up some new ones to deal with!
