Verizon Deals With Third 3G/4G Network Outage This Month

Yet again, Verizon’s 3G and 4G data network has gone down in a rather random and irregular fashion today. Big Red users in New York City, Phoenix, Minneapolis, Detroit, Chicago, Houston, San Francisco and Portland are among those to report problems. Sadly, it didn’t seem to get better for Verizon, as users in Florida, South Carolina, Washington, and New Jersey also reported outage issues in various cities as the day wore on.

The repeat outages could stand to potentially hurt Verizon’s reputation, as users will inevitably start to question the network’s reliability. Here is what Verizon had to say about the wide spread outage today:

We are investigating reports of some customers experiencing trouble accessing the 4GLTE network. The network itself continues to operate and all customers continue to be able to make calls, send text messages and utilize data services. 3G devices are operating normally.

Let us know if today’s outage stressed you out, or if you are already back up and running in your area of the country.
