Windows Phone Marketplace Now Expanding Into 6 New Markets: Allows Developers Additional Global Exposure

It seemed like only yesterday when Windows Phone Marketplace hit their 50,000 app milestone, and now WP7 enthusiasts and developers alike have another reason to celebrate as the company is expanding once more. Microsoft is now reaching its global arm into Argentina, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Peru and the Philippines.

Despite the virtual store not being live just yet in these six new markets, eager developers are able to submit their apps now for early certification consideration. Early app submission benefits Microsoft as well, as they are able to have plenty of apps for their consumers once they’re ready to launch officially. Developers should note that applications submitted to three of the new markets – China, Indonesia and Malaysia – will be subject to additional requirements due to local laws, regulations, or local norms. So, what are you waiting for? Go on and get to work on those apps. Interested developers can obtain more information from the official Windows Phone developer blog.Source
