It doesn’t matter what part of the globe you consider home, as Apple product launches are notorious for causing sheer mayhem. This time pandemonium broke loose in China during an iPhone 4S launch. Reportedly, fights and unnecessary violence between rival gangs of scalpers spun out of control as both groups were looking to score mass quantities of the coveted iPhone 4S. The ambiance got so dicey, Chinese SWAT teams were called in to crowd control. To the dismay of several hundred eager consumers, the Beijing Apple Store has decided to lock its doors until the mood shifts to a more manageable tone.No injuries have been reported as of yet, and we’re hoping it stays that way.
