One fortunate Verizon Galaxy Nexus user received an unexpected Over The Air update, which has now turned into a downloadable ROM for Android hackers everywhere. The ROM bumps the smartphone up to version Android 4.0.4., and brings along with it various device improvements and bug fixes.

Notable improvements include: fixed battery stats bug, speed enhancements throughout, improved radios for enhanced 3G/4G switching, improved signal strength, new Power Menu, faster boot up time, auto-brightness functionality changed, multi-touch issue resolved, increased volume, and keyboard fixes.
