The recent update to the Moto Droid family, the Droid 4, is now available from Verizon. The device costs $200 clams and as usual, you will have to tie yourself down with a two-year contract, which doesn’t seem that harsh if you look at its spec sheet below:
- 4.0-inch qHD display
- Dual-core 1.2GHz CPU with 1GB of RAM
- 16GB of internal storage
- 8MP camera capable of recording at 1080p HD quality with a front cam for video calling/chatting
- Support for LTE network with WiFi, Bluetooth, and aGPS
- Full 5-row slide-out QWERTY keypad
- Android 2.3.5 OS
The Gingerbread OS looks like a letdown for now but once Moto is doing polishing its own variant of ICS for the device, it should roll out and the Droid 4 will be a spanking new device yet again. Head over to Verizon if you are interested.
