Samsung Unleashes S Pen SDK Version 2.0, Offers Note Narration and Animation
Preceding Samsung’s flashy unveiling of their 10.1 Note device, the company has also decided to bring more attention to its S Pen. For those of you not familiar yet with the S Pen, it is an input device for the Samsung Galaxy Note that enables quicker and more precise input than other stylus pens. The S Pen can be used more like an actual pen because the precise pen pressure that is recognized.
Samsung has announced that third-party developers can now have their own fun with version 2.0 of the S Pen SDK. With the new build developers will have the ability to add animation to drawings and pair that with recorded voice. Additional highlights involved access to the SAMM Library, revamped rendering and the ability to revert after accidentally clearing all.
