Galaxy Nexus Headed to Sprint: Pre-Orders Available Now, April 22nd Launch, $200 On Contract

When Sprint first confirmed during CES 2012 that they would be adding the Samsung Galaxy Nexus to their device portfolio, we were left wondering when it would actually happen. Fast forward to mid-April and we have finally received word that the Now Network is ready to put a date on it. In true Sprint fashion, the Google flagship phone is up for pre-order today and is scheduled to hit retail stores next week on April 22nd. Google is offering to throw in a $10 Google Wallet credit  for anyone who signs up for the service within one week of the phone’s activation. Google Wallet users can then look forward to an additional $40 credit within three weeks.

For anyone who needs a Galaxy Nexus spec refresher highlights include: Android 4.0, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED contour display and dual cameras. Sprint consumers can expect to pay $199.99 for the Galaxy Nexus with a new line or eligible upgrade and two-year service agreement. Interested consumers can pre-order the device here.
