Samsung Set to Introduce New Galaxy Smartphone on May 3rd: Galaxy S III?
We’ve all been subject to the months of speculation and rumors about Samsung’s next Galaxy smartphone, but it appears that we will only have a few more weeks to find out what’s been up Sammy’s sleeve. Tweakers.net, a Dutch site, was first to receive an invite from Samsung which simply states “come and meet the next Galaxy”. The unveiling is scheduled to happen in London at 2PM ET on May 3rd. While everyone is left hoping Samsung introduces the Galaxy S III, there were no other details on the invite to confirm which device will be unveiled.
The first Galaxy S and Galaxy S II handsets were wildly successful for Samsung selling millions of units since their launch two years ago. The Galaxy S III is expected to have a quad-core processor, an HD display, Android 4.0 and more. Whatever phone is waiting in the wings we hope it blows us out of this Galaxy.
