How to Install TWRP Recovery 2.1 on Iconia A100 Tablet

Acer Iconia A100 tablet recently got the TWRP recovery port and it is indeed a good news for this tablet users around the world. We’ve showed you how you can root your Iconia A100 tablet and in this sequence article, you will learn how you can install TWRP Recovery 2.1 on your tablet. By installing this recovery, you are opening gates to the world of custom ROMs. After the recovery has been installed on your tablet, you will be able to load custom ROMs to change the appearance of your tablet and to enjoy new features of that particular ROM.

I. Before You Begin:

1. You must have a rooted Acer Iconia A100 tablet, you can root it from here.

2. You must have unlocked bootloader of your tablet, it can be done from here.

3. Make sure your tablet is charged and have at least 60% of battery life.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. Download the TWRP Recovery Image from here.

III. Installing TWRP Recovery 2.1 on Iconia A100 Tablet:

1. Extract the files from the Recovery Image archive and put them on the Desktop of your PC.

2. Connect your tablet to the PC using the USB cable.

3. From the files you extracted, right-click on install.bat file and choose Run as administrator (for Windows). Rooting of your tablet will begin.

4. Once the recovery is installed on your tablet, you will enter into the trial mode of recovery.

5. Disconnect your tablet from the PC.
