Verizon Pushes LTE Coverage In 33 New Markets This Week, Expands in 32 Current Markets

Verizon has been steadfast with its 4G LTE coverage here in the states and the company plans to maintain its status as top dog. Big Red consumers can look forward to expanded high-speed data coverage in 33 new markets and expansions in 32 markets.

New markets will include New London County, CT; Vero Beach, FL; and Missoula, MT, while network expansions will happen in 32 markets including San Francisco, Washington DC, and Seattle.

After the week closes, Verizon will bump its total number of LTE markets to a staggering 337, which keeps them far ahead of AT&T and Sprint. Verizon maintains its goal of covering 400 U.S. markets in their blazing fast LTE speeds by the end of 2012.
