Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean Update Rolling Out Now For All Motorola XOOM WiFi Users

Step aside Nexus 7, you aren’t the only tablet to relish in the sweetness of Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean anymore. Just days after Motorola rolled out its Jelly Bean soak test to willing test participants, it appears that all went well as the official update is now rolling out to all XOOM WiFi owners. Hopefully, the update is bug free and without any major issues.

Still no word on the Verizon XOOM tablet receiving the Jelly Bean update. As you may recall, the Verizon XOOM only got its Ice Cream Sandwich update last month, while Wi-Fi models received it all the way back in January.

For anyone who hasn’t received the update you can pop into the device’s settings and check for the new update. Don’t stress if you don’t see the update right away, as some users are having success by forcing the update by clearing the Google Services Framework (Settings/Apps/All/Google Services Framework/Clear Data) first. It may take you a few tries, but you should see the update soon enough.

Has anyone updated their device yet?
