Rumor: ICS Update Headed to HTC Rezound Users

According to a recently leaked internal document, it appears that the HTC Rezound may be seeing an update to Ice Cream Sandwich soon. The document has the ICS update slated for July 29th, which would make Rezound owners pretty ecstatic. If this turns out to be true the OTA update will run approximately 292MB, and you’ll need to have some WiFi on hand before you download.

While some of you may be grumbling that this update isn’t the Jelly Bean news you were hoping for, just keep in mind that the more Android devices to get ICS the better. ICS is still a significant change from the last OS (over a year ago). Hey, at least we’re making strides in the right direction.

So, let’s keep our fingers crossed for all the Rezound users out there, as it shouldn’t be much longer until they can sink their teeth into some Android 4.o action.
