If you want to unroot the Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch for any reason after using our rooting procedure, this guide will help you do it.  Read on to know how!

I.  Before You Begin

1.  This guide will help you unroot the Sprint variant ( SPH-D710) of Galaxy S II running any version of Android.

2.  As always, back up anything you feel is important before proceeding.

II.  Necessary Downloads

1. e4gtauto-sfx.exe [Link available in the first post of this thread]

2.  Samsung Android USB drivers (if not already installed during our rooting procedure)

III.  Unrooting the Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch

1.  Enable USB Debugging on your device.  To do this, go to Settings > Developer Options and tick the USB Debugging checkbox.

2.  Connect your device to your Windows PC and turn off USB Storage Mode.  To do this, drag down the notification bar when connected and select USB Connected; it should off by default.

3.  Extract the e4gtauto-sfx.exe self-extracting zip file you downloaded above to a convenient folder (for example, C:\e4gtauto).

4.  From the extracted folder, double-click on runfirst.bat to start the tool.

5.  Type B and hit the Enter key.

6.  Follow the on-screen instructions.

At the end of the procedure, the Superuser app should have vanished from your device’s app drawer.  This means that you have successfully unrooted your Epic 4G Touch.

All credit goes to sfhub for packing everything into this nice little tool and if you feel he deserves something, donate to him via his XDA thread!!
