How To Root the Galaxy S III (All Versions)(MSkip ToolKit Method)(Video)

Ready to flash a custom ROM or overclock your Samsung Galaxy S III already? Don’t blame you. Rooting your Galaxy S III and loading a custom ROM afterwards will allow you to flash Jelly Bean and even a vanilla Android Jelly Bean version onto the device removing the weird Samsung UI skin. That alone would be reason for me.

In this how to, we’ll show you how to easily root your Galaxy S III regardless of the version using developer MSkip’s Toolkit.

I. Before You Begin

1. This will only work on Windows.

II. Install the Toolkit and Drivers

1. Download the MSkip Toolkit for your device version below and save it to your desktop.

2. Double click the Toolkit to launch it.

3. Click Next

4. If the next screen asks you for what version of the Galaxy S III you have, select that option and hit enter.

5. Type 1 and hit enter to install drivers.

6. On the phone, pull down the notification shade and click on Settings, then click on Developer Options and turn ON USB debugging mode.

7. Once done, plug in your Galaxy S III via USB cable to your computer.

III. Root the Galaxy S III and Install ClockworkMod Recovery

1. Get back to the main menu, type 2 and hit enter to get to the rooting options.

2. Type 3 to do the AllinOne option.

3. Follow the on-screen options until it is finished.

    I got android ice cream sandwich run on N9. BUT!!!

    When I try to switch on my camera,it says that ” can’t connect to the camera ” that was first problem 😀

    Second problem is that internet and Wi-Fi isn’t working at all 😀

    What should I do 😀 ?

  2. Hello Sir. My phone is downloading a new software update. When I install it, after rebooting the phone it displays this.

    Finding update package…
    Opening update package…
    Verifying update package…
    E:failed to verify whole-file signature
    E:signature verification failed
    Installation aborted.
