Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G Headed to T-Mobile in the Coming Weeks

Thanks to an official announcement made today, the  Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G smartphone now has an official U.S. launch time frame.

According to the Korean manufacturer, the device is slated to hit the T-Mobile network sometime “in the coming weeks”. The Galaxy S Relay 4G was originally dubbed the Galaxy S Blaze Q, but received its new name in August. It may be a toss up on which name was better, but hey, we’re thrilled to see this phone give T-Mo customers another Android option.

Interested consumers can expect this member of the Galaxy family to sport the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS underneath a 4-inch super AMOLED display. Additional spec highlights include a 1.5-GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor, a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera, and a 5-megapixel rear camera. The Relay S 4G will also come equipped with Wi-Fi calling support and can act as a mobile hot spot for up to 5 devices.
