If you’ve been patiently waiting for Verizon to release the HTC Windows Phone 8 device then it appears as though the wait is nearly over. According to Verizon’s website,  HTC 8X pre-orders ($199 on 2-year contract, $549 retail) will ship by November 13th for the black or blue models, while the red model has a later ship date listed as the 21st. Verizon’s planned ship date coincides with the other big carriers  with T-Mobile shipping their 8X on the 14th, Bell on the 15th and Rogers on the 12th.

Also listed on the website with the same 11/13 release date is the Nokia Lumia 822. With an affordable $99 price tag, the Lumia 822 could provide the budget-conscious consumer with a more affordable option.
