Verizon Launches the Samsung Galaxy Stratosphere II: Android 4.0, NFC, and 4G

Verizon is welcoming a new addition to its lineup in the form of the Samsung Galaxy Stratosphere II. The smartphone perfect for users who still crave a full hardware QWERTY keyboard with the perks of having access to most of Samsung’s major media services. Future owners can also look forward to NFC (near-field communications) support and Verizon’s 4G LTE speeds.

This device will come with a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and Android 4.0 wrapped up in a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen. As the phone is Global Ready, users will be able to call and email from over 200 countries.

Consumers can look for the Samsung Galaxy Stratosphere II to be available online and in Verizon stores in the coming weeks. The device will be priced at $130 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year contract.
