Verizon Approves Jelly Bean Update For Droid Razr HD and Maxx, Soak Test Now With Full Update Soon To Follow

Verizon Droid Razr HD and Maxx users will certainly be pleased to hear that Big Red has approved both devices to be updated to Android 4.1, Jelly Bean. A soak test is scheduled to hit devices soon, which means the full update should be right on its heels.

The 276 MB update will offer up all the sweetness of Jelly Bean including: Google Now, improved notifications, an enhanced keyboard, better Voice Search, and Project Butter. As an added bonus, Verizon and Motorola worked together to improve voice and data connectivity, the user experience in the calendar, and Back Up Assistant.
