How to Fix WiFi Bug on the Samsung Galaxy S3

Samsung is proud of its Galaxy S3 terminal as it has earned the company with record profits and it still is booming in the markets. It’s obvious that while making some great products, there’s always a room for bugs and flaws in the system. Some of the users of the said device have reported several bugs related to WiFi which have left them with limted to no access to WiFi connectivity. When there’s a problem, there’s a solution. With that said, an XDA Member has come up with a solution of one of these bugs that could, at least for now, help users rectify the issue until an official update arrives and fixes them. The solution is available for only one bug which is as follows:

If the signal strength seems to increase while getting closer to AP2, but then the wifi icon disappears briefly and comes back after a few seconds, and the web radio stream drops, you are observing the Galaxy S3 bug, and this workaround will help you.

  1. Galaxy S3. Rooted. The ES File Explorer doesn’t see the root. Neither does Titanium Backup. Cachemate does as does Root Call Blocker.

    Any ideas? Thank you!!

  2. I should add that my S3 had no issue with wifi or 4G before I rooted it. After rooting wifi and 4G are sporadic at best.

    Thanks again.
