When it comes to tablets under $200, Acer is hoping to carve out its own spot next to the dominating Nexus 7. Using CES 2013 as the unveiling stage Acer unveiled the budget friendly Iconia B1-A71. The 7″ slab ships Android Jelly Bean ready without gobbling up your entire paycheck. With mediocre specs including a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor from Mediatek, 512 MB, WSVGA screen and 8 GB of memory, don’t expect to be blown away with what’s under the hood. But, if you’re determined to stay under $200 for a new tablet running the latest Android OS, then this really isn’t a bad deal.
Acer conveniently left out an exact launch date, but we’ll be sure to give you the hard dates when we get our hands on them. Anyone out there willing to shell out $150 for an Acer made Jelly Bean tablet?
