Samsung Galaxy Note 8 to be Introduced at Mobile World Congress

In the emerging tablet market, smaller slabs like the Nexus 7 and the iPad Mini are rapidly becoming a consumer favorite. So, it comes as no surprise that Samsung is looking to take on some of the action for themselves. While we expected to see a smaller tablet unveiled at CES 2012 it appears that the head of Samsung Mobile, JK Shin has  confirmed that the company has chosen this year’s Mobile World Congress event as their venue of choice for the Galaxy Note 8.

Specs for the 8-inch slate remain a mystery at this point, but it is speculated that the device will have a 1280 x 800 resolution display (same as the Galaxy Note 10.1),  house a quad-core Exynos processor, and will obviously sport Samsung’s own suite of software apps.

What kind of specs would you like to see the Galaxy Note 8 sport?
