How to Root the Samsung Galaxy S3 (US Cellular)

There are several variants of the Samsung Galaxy S3 device and one of them is US Cellular variant that comes with 4G LTE enabled and the rest of the specifications are usually same as its other variants. To remind you the specs, the phone boasts a 4.8″ inch screen with the resolution of 1280×720, Android Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box, 2GB RAM and a 1.5GHz processor. In order to get the most out of this beast, you must root it and it’ll start working at its fullest to provide the maximum performance possible to the users. And rooting doesn’t cost a penny nor do you have to be a geek to do that, it’s as simple as abc. Just follow the following guide and you should have root access on your Samsung Galaxy S3 (US Cellular) smartphone.

10. Reboot the device into Download mode. This can be done by pressing and holding the Volume DOWN+Home+Power buttons together.

11. Press the Volume UP button to continue.

12. Once inside the Download mode, connect your device to your PC via USB cable.

13. Now Odin should recognize the device and one of the boxes in the tool will turn yellow.
