There’s a new rumor milling around these parts in the form of “Ultrapixel” technology. Reportedly HTC’s unreleased flagship device, the M7, will launch with three separate 4.3MP cameras. If this turns out to be true, then the “Ultrapixel” tech will foster crisper, cleaner images with improved color accuracy. The new tech could also pave the way to HTC scoring their way back into consumer’s hearts (and wallets).
HTC supported the “Ultrapixel” concept by posting up an infographic on their company blog that walks through “A History of Photography”. Near the end of the infographic there is a section that states “HTC kicks off a new sound and camera experience in 2013.” While it doesn’t exactly say “Ultrapixel”, it does suggest that consumers are in for an entirely new “experience”.
With the HTC M7 still expected to make its grand debut on February 19th, we’ve still got time to kill before we can confirm this new tech. At this point there’s no telling what HTC has in store for us. In the meantime, check out the infographic for yourself below.
