On some Samsung devices, you should find the Screenshot function inbuilt. But such is not the case with all other smartphones out there. It’s always a good idea to root your device if you’re looking for customize your device without any limitations!

  1. I get to step 13 with no issues but my phone doesn’t reboot at step 14: root_p880.bat opens and in a cmd window, displays ” * daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037* *daemon started successfully*” and then nothing happens.

    Thoughts? Help?

  2. ok I am confused ive got a optimus 4g lte p930 on Canadian bell network ive rooted but cant load a custom rom using rom manager ive been led to believe that’s because im running ics 4.0.4 which has a locked bootloader, so where do I go from here does unlocking my phone unlock the bootloader or do I have to go through the unbrick mode to downgrade to gingerbread to get to a unlocked boot loader im a newbie to this and am stumped

    1. If upgrading to Jellybean is your reason to root your phone, I suggest you to download LGMobile Support Tool. My phone is now running in Jellybean without rooting.
