Its succesfully installed.. but .. i go to rom manager and says i need to install custom recovery ??? WTF!??

    1. Mahesh Makvana

Nop, you shouldn’t apply it on your device as it may brick your device. Very soon we’ll have a guide to root the S5302 device.

      Thanks!

  2. I have two Questions:

I heard Flashing a custom Recovery has a high chance of Bricking. How can I minimize the Risk of doing so?

And About Nandroid Backups: Where are they stored (USB-Storage/Internal Memory/External SD) and how big are they (As you may know, the Galaxy Pocket does not have much internal Memory, so I am a bit woried.)

    Thanks in advance!

          3. Hello Joshua,

You shouldn’t have installed a recovery on your device that is NOT developed for your device. Apparently your device has been bricked.

Don’t worry, we won’t let anything spoil your birthday.

To fix your device, you need to flash back the stock ROM on your device. To do so, simply download the firmware for your device and region from the following link, then flash it on your device using Odin.

            Stock Firmware – http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-S5300

For full instructions on flashing the firmware, please check out the guide given here – https://theunlockr.com/2014/04/15/unroot-samsung-galaxy-s5-t-mobile/

Just follow Section III given in the guide and you should be all set.

            Happy Birthday 🙂

            Thank you!

here is the thing Sir.Mahesh every time I connect the device and try to start it up on the “Download mode” or I go to the “Recovery mode” it won’t start up! it says I cannot connect your device and it says I need to install its hardware ! so I installed the Drivers for it !!! and then I tried to go to the Device Manager I to add a device then I saw ” question mark named USB and SAMSUNG so I tried to click that and try to add that device its telling me I have error 10 and error 28!

          9. Hello Joshua,

It seems the problem is with your computer and not the procedure. Please install a fresh version of your OS on your computer and then install the required drivers. The procedure should work fine then.

If you can’t do this, just ask your friend to use his PC for a while.

            Thanks!
